This page contains the terms & conditions. Please read these terms & conditions carefully before ordering any products from us. You should understand that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions.

By placing an order at Stairrods (UK) Ltd, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old (or have parents' permission to buy from us) and accept these terms & conditions which shall apply to all orders placed or to be placed at Stairrods (UK) Ltdfor the sale and supply of any products. None of these terms & conditions affect your statutory rights. No other terms or changes to the terms & conditions shall be binding unless agreed in writing signed by us.

Personal Information

All personal information you provide us with or that we obtain will be handled by Stairrods (UK) Ltd as responsible for the personal information. The personal information you provide will be used to ensure deliveries to you, the credit assessment, to provide offers and information on our catalog to you. The information you provide is only available to Stairrods (UK) Ltd and will not be shared with other third parties. You have the right to inspect the information held about you. Force Majeure

Events outside Stairrods (UK) Ltd control, which is not reasonably foreseeable, shall be considered force majeure, meaning that Stairrods (UK) Ltd is released from Stairrods (UK) Ltd's obligations to fulfill contractual agreements. Example of such events are government action or omission, new or amended legislation, conflict, embargo, fire or flood, sabotage, accident, war, natural disasters, strikes or lack of delivery from suppliers. The force majeure also includes government decisions that affect the market negatively and products, for example, restrictions, warnings, ban, etc.

Payment

All products remain Stairrods (UK) Ltd's property until full payment is made. The price applicable is that set at the date on which you place your order. Shipping costs and payment fees are recognized before confirming the purchase. If you are under 18 years old you must have parents' permission to buy from Stairrods (UK) Ltd.

All transfers conducted through Stairrods (UK) Ltd are handled and transacted through third party dedicated gateways to guarantee your protection. Card information is not stored and all card information is handled over SSL encryption. Please read the terms & conditions for the payment gateway choosen for the transaction as they are responsible for the transactions made.

Local Taxes

Please note that local charges (sales tax, customs duty) may occur, depending on your region and local customs duties. These charges are at the customers own expense.

At the event of when a product is sold out, Stairrods (UK) Ltd has the right to cancel the order and refund any amount paid in the best way. Stairrods (UK) Ltd shall also notify the customer of equivalent replacement products if available.

Return & Refund Policy

Custom-Made and Bespoke Products

Many of our products are custom-made to the specifications selected by the customer, including measurements, finishes, colours and other options. Because these products are made specifically to the customer's requirements, we generally cannot accept returns or provide refunds where the customer has changed their mind, selected the wrong specification or measurement, or no longer requires the product.

Customers are responsible for checking their order confirmation carefully and ensuring that all measurements, finishes, colours and other specifications are correct before placing an order.

Checking Your Order on Delivery

We recommend that customers inspect their order promptly upon delivery and, wherever reasonably possible, before installation or use.

If a product appears to be damaged, incorrect or different from the specifications shown on your order confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, arrange a suitable remedy.

When contacting us about an issue, please provide your order number and photographs or other information that may help us assess the issue.

Products Supplied Incorrectly

If we have made an error and supplied a product that does not conform to the specifications confirmed on your order, please contact us promptly after discovering the issue.

We will review the circumstances and, where appropriate, offer a suitable remedy, which may include replacement, repair, refund or another appropriate resolution, subject to applicable law.

Where an issue could reasonably have been identified before installation or use, customers should contact us before installing or modifying the product wherever possible.

Time Limits for Reporting Issues

Customers should notify us of any apparent damage, defect, incorrect specification or other issue within a reasonable period after delivery or after the issue is, or reasonably should have been, discovered.

This does not affect any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Refunds

Refunds for custom-made products are not normally available where the product has been made correctly to the customer's confirmed specifications and the customer subsequently changes their mind, orders incorrect measurements or specifications, or no longer requires the product.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict any rights or remedies available to customers under applicable law.

Product Finishes

Please note - Whilst every effort is made to accurately reproduce the appearance of our goods - we can not accept and responsibility for any color misrepresentations. All our products are hand made and hand finished. Also, different color display settings on computer monitors can have an effect on the appearance of colors.
